Timber Creek Offers Programs Year Round!

Timber Creek Farm and Forest School is dedicated to inspiring the love of nature in all ages! We strongly believe that the health of future generations depends on teaching THIS generation to cherish each other,  our earth and all that she offers. We know that by playing and learning together in nature, natural respect and understanding evolves that lasts a lifetime. Come along and join us on an adventure to discovery!

Nature School

As leaves turn and seasons change, our connection with nature stays the same! The Timber Creek progam offers young people the space and environment to explore their imaginations, feelings and their connections to themselves and others.

The day starts with a morning greeting where we stir interests and talk about what the morning may bring. After our greeting and sharing ideas and feelings, we start our exploration geared up and ready to go! After the first half of our day, we gather for lunch. Young people can bring their own food and we also have seasonal goodies for them to snack on too!

The farm and the forest are a blank canvas and everyone is encouraged to express their interests, connect with others and to develop a deepening sense of the world around them. We close the day by saying goodbye and expressing our appreciation for the gifts the day has given us all.

“What better way to learn about native plants and our environment we live in than to get totally immersed in it.”-Laura Sorenson, Nature Immersion Art Teacher

Each month the art class discovers a plant from the farm or the forest and learns the qualities and benefits they offer. Every child creates a portfolio on the mysteries of the plant and then move into the art project itself. The project incorporates the plant in creative and thoughtful ways, allowing the children to learn through artistry, play and movement.

Classes are offered multiple days of the month. Please contact for this months schedule.
